A timber conservatory is a fantastic addition to a building in any timber, but an oak conservatory is truly exceptional and will make a stunning and elegant feature, adding a touch of class to your home. Oak conservatories are particularly well suited to rustic stone-built or “farmhouse” style homes, but can also suit more modern or contemporary buildings. Whether it’s a fully glazed conservatory, or one which incorporates a partially or fully-tiled roof or even a fireplace, we can design and manufacture a building to suit your needs. We can manufacture any style of oak conservatory whether Victorian, Georgian, Edwardian, lean-to, gable-fronted or even designs which combine different elements like “P-shaped” or “T-shaped” buildings, link buildings, lantern roofs and more. Whatever the design, we will undertake fully detailed 3D design drawings which are sent to you for approval before anything is manufactured, so you always know exactly what you’re getting.

Oak is a beautiful timber, and it is particularly good for building windows, doors and conservatories as it is strong, durable and versatile. Oak is at its best when finished in a translucent stain, showing off its wide, open grain and distinctive colouring. We offer a range of stain colours, so whether you’re looking for a light coloured “new oak” finish or a darker “aged oak” finish, we can help. We also offer painting in solid colours and are able to match RAL, BS, Dulux and Farrow & Ball colours, as well as offering colour matching from samples e.g. of wallpaper of fabric. As an optional extra, we can paint the joinery different colours on the inside and outside, for example a white conservatory when viewed from the outside, and warm natural oak coloured frames on the inside.

Oak conservatories can be made to look traditional by designing them with large oak posts and thick roof components to give the look of chunky traditional oak framing as used in old or traditional structures such as homes, barns and churches. An oak conservatory can be fitted to a new build home, as a replacement for an existing conservatory, as a new extension or even to listed buildings in many cases.
